Nourishing Connection
Through Food

We grow gardeners

We bring people together to grow food with intention, foster connection to Land, and be nourished by a resilient food system rooted in community.

What We Do

In a fast-paced world, we create spaces to slow down, work with our hands, and reconnect with what nourishes us.

We believe the only way to design high quality garden education and food literacy resources and programs is through collaboration.

All of our work is developed in collaboration with qualified educators, farmers, and food & agriculture industry experts across Canada.

Inspiring Stories

After-School
Garden Coaching

What began as garden coaching for their mother quickly became an opportunity for two twin brothers to learn to grow their own food in their backyard. Before each garden coaching session, they would eagerly wait at the window! They created this dish with vegetables fresh from their garden.

Starting a School
Garden Club

A bright high school student established and led a School Garden Club. Over the course of one year, our garden coach supported the student with garden design, crop rotations, succession planting, harvesting techniques, and rainy day activities. They celebrated together when it became a permanent club in early 2026!

Classroom
Mushroom Pet

A Grade 4/5 classroom welcomed a new classroom pet, in the for of a blue oyster mushroom grow kit named “Sir Mushmore”! Students tracked mycelium growth, cooked the harvest and discovered that local food exists in cold winters. Parents shared that their children’s taste for mushrooms also changed at home!

We Grow More Than Gardeners

Resilient food systems grown within community. We nurture self-sufficiency — but never in isolation. Our work cultivates responsibility, collaboration, and leadership through meaningful connection to food and the Land.

Young Leaders in Agriculture & Food Systems

A program designed for the next generation of change-makers ready to turn ideas into impact.

This mentorship program combines food systems foundations, entrepreneurial skills, and leadership soft skills development.

We also offer individualized project coaching 1:1 with each participant.
