Nourishing Connection

Through Food

We grow gardeners

By gathering and empowering people of all ages to cultivate food and connect to the Land.

Four educators are standing together in front of a school garden courtyard.

Educators gathered together in the school’s new vegetable garden.

What We Do

In a fast-paced world, we create spaces to slow down, work with our hands, and reconnect with what nourishes us.

When people have the opportunity to grow food, more than plants take root. Food connects us to: culture, Land, community, and oneself.

We collaborate with qualified educators and food & agriculture community partners to design high quality garden and food literacy resources and programs.

Education Rooted in Collaboration

Inspiring Stories

After-School Gardening Activity

What began as garden coaching for their mother quickly became an opportunity for two brothers to learn to grow their own food in the backyard. They would eagerly wait for our garden coach at the window before each garden session!

Mushrooms in the Classroom

A Grade 4/5 classroom welcomed a new classroom pet named: “Mount Mushmore” — a blue oyster mushroom kit! Students tracked mycelium growth and discovered that food systems exist even in winter classrooms.

We Grow More Than Gardeners

We nurture self-sufficiency — but never in isolation. Resilient food systems grow through community. Our work cultivates responsibility, initiative, collaboration, and leadership through meaningful connection to food.

Young Leaders in Agriculture & Food Systems

A program designed for adolescence the next generation of change-makers ready to turn ideas into impact.

A mentorship program combining food systems learning, entrepreneurship skills, and leadership development with individualized project 1:1 coaching with each participant.

Coming Fall of 2026!
